Personal Private Home Boarding

Country Bark and Bath Private Home Boarding is ideal for those doggies who are groomed by us as we have created an environment fostering a bonding connection between groomer and your family member that your dog knows and trusts in. Pet parents can have total confidence that their furry family members will be extremely well cared for and loved in your absence. We endeavor to pamper your pooch with love and care, as we think of them as part of our extended family members.

The care is provided at our residence and is suited to our small dog clients. We only board one to four dogs at a time and most of the time the dogs already know each other from meeting in the salon when they come in for grooming. Having boarding numbers stay low helps to provide a calm positive experience for your family member and gives that feel of being at home.

• During the day your cherished dog will be amongst the salon dogs as they come in for grooming. So, lots of supervised doggy interactions for those who love to mingle or for those who like more quiet time will take themselves off to one of the salon beds.

• Once the grooming day is over your loved dog will mingle with our two dogs Maggie and Odie under supervision. As the night goes on and it is time for us all to relax, they can choose to either take themselves off to their bed to chill or they can choose a bed in the lounge so they are part of family time.

• Once bedtime rolls around, they will have their own space to relax and sleep in their own bed with their own blanket and cuddly toy in the same area as Maggie and Odie. The area is protected by a portable fence, so they are contained for sleep time and not able to roam the house keeping them safe and secure.

• I send updates and photos during care time to mum and dad, so they can feel happy their much loved family member is settled and happy.

We invite a 2-night trial to see how your family member copes with private home boarding, monitoring how they mingle with the dogs and our own dogs and how they sleep and eat during the small trial period. If they settle into the environment and show their coping, then extended boarding time is possible.
